Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club is situated in the beautiful Pawleys Island area of South Carolina. A golf resort providing accommodation and conference facilities plus the Phil Ritson-Mel Sole golf school. Guests enjoy use of the 27,000 square foot Antebellum style clubhouse where breakfast is served in the Sawgrass Room overlooking the spacious veranda, lake and Pawleys Island marsh.

Pawleys Plantation, located on the mainland, is a 582 acre resort and golf course community and a recognised Audubon bird sanctuary. It is home to many coastal species including, ospreys, egrets, wood ducks and wood storks and birdhouses serve as homes for bluebirds. The Plantation is also a natural habitat for red fox, alligators and white-tail deer and it's lakes are stocked with blue gill, bass, bream and catfish. Resort facilities There are three dining areas, the Sawgrass Room for more formal dining, the Oake Grille and the Palmetto Pub for sporty and casual dining. The executive chef, with over 25 years experience, is Robert Brantly. Among his many awards are Grand Award Taste of Tidelands 2002 and first place in Myrtle Beach's Taste of the Town seven times. There are two outdoor pools and two lighted tennis courts. Fitness centre privileges at HealthPoint, just down the road, are available to guests. There is also a 6500 sq. ft. conference centre.

For golfers the Jack Nicklaus signature course was rated "outstanding" and awarded 4 stars, by Golf Digest. The challenge of the design is equalled only by the beauty of the spectacular views of the salt marsh with Pawleys Island beyond. Moss draped oaks and coastal palmettos define the holes around the layout and the back nine in particular boasts some outstanding holes.

There are excellent practice facilities and the Plantation is home to the on site Phil Ritson-Mel Sole golf school. The school has been consistently ranked by national golf and travel magazines as one of the best schools in the US and designated by Golf Magazine as one of the top 25 schools in the nation. Our package rates are based on 2 sharing a 1 bedroom villa suite or 4 sharing a 2 bedroom villa at Weehawka Woods. The standard 2 bedroom villas have lake and golf course views, with nine foot ceilings, two master bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and spacious patios and outdoor furniture. Guests have access to a private swimming pool adjacent to the villas. You can upgrade to any of the larger properties for a modest daily supplement. Rates vary depending on the unit and the time of year so please ask us for an accurate quote.
