Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort is approximately a 25 minute drive south of Myrtle Beach. Murrells Inlet the local seafood capital is less than 10 minutes drive north. Charleston is 70 miles south. golf courses There are around 110 golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area. Staying at Litchfield you are within an hours drive of all but a few of them. In the immediate area you will find some of the best courses around. Apart from Litchfield CC, River Club and Willbrook Plantation you also have Tradition Golf Club, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club, Heritage, Pawleys Plantation, Sea Gull and Wachesaw East within a 10 minute drive. There are 3 totally private courses in the area, Reserve Club, Wachesaw Plantation and DeBordieu.
	A 20 minute drive south is Georgetown and here you will find Wedgefield Plantation golf course. Just to the North in the Murrells Inlet area you will find Blackmoor, TPC of Myrtle Beach, International Club, Indigo Creek, Indian Wells, Heron Point and Island Green.
