Apart from four highly acclaimed championship golf courses on site, first class but modestly priced accommodation and pools and restaurants you are close to the Barefoot Landing shopping, dining and entertainment centre and only a few minutes drive from the other major entertainment centre in Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach and the Ocean.
		The resort is directly across the Waterway from Barefoot Landing. There are 2 entrances to Barefoot Resort both off Highway 17. One is next to Alligator Adventure and the other a few yards further north. To get to Barefoot Landing from the resort you do not need to go back out to the highway as access is immediately right after the swing bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway via the House of Blues car park.
		Barefoot Landing sits across the Intracoastal Waterway from the resort. Road and pedestrian access is via a swing bridge. Barefoot Landing is a vast collection of shops, restaurants and day and night time attractions, built on boardwalks over a large lake. There are resident alligators, carp and catfish which appear as a sea of mouths waiting for food.
	The area around Barefoot Landing is known as Restaurant Row so there are plenty of dining opportunities as a change from the on site facilities at Barefoot. The beach is about a five minute drive from the resort and North Myrtle Beach boasts some of the most unspoilt and beautiful coastline along the Grand Strand. There are plenty of places to park by the beach access points. If you are flying in to Myrtle Beach International Airport it is about a 25 minute drive to Barefoot Resort up Highway 17.
					golf courses Staying at Barefoot you will certainly want to play at least 1 of their 4 top class courses. For the rest of your package you can choose from any of the 100 or so other courses. Staying at Barefoot Resort you will be no more than 45 minutes drive from all but a handful of them! We have played 95 courses many more than once and spend 5 months a year in Myrtle Beach. We can therefore provide up to minute information and advice on where to play.
