| The following information on accommodation in Myrtle Beach is useful for UK travellers used to staying in Europe. Rather than automatically specifying a hotel in a central location you will be able to narrow your options down. In Myrtle Beach, hotel rooms are reasonably spacious but generally more expensive than villas or condos and not as well equipped or furnished.
Best Value accommodation is usually found on the golf complexes. The golf villas that we offer are of a very high standard providing spacious, well equipped accommodation in prime locations. Both Barefoot Resort and Legends provide central locations while Litchfield Resort and Pawleys Plantation in the south offer a variety of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom accommodation types usually with either fairway or lake views. We feel that there is a huge benefit to golfers of having a unit large enough for the group to get together after a round of golf or before they go out in the evening and have a few drinks (stored in the enormous fridge/freezers typical of the units), perhaps watch the golf channel on cable. Some of the units have hotel style facilities such as pools, fitness rooms etc and of course a bar and restaurant. So please ask when you book if you do have specific requirements. |

Oceanfront You do pay a premium for staying on the ocean so ask yourself how important is that ocean view. The hotels that we offer have pools and restaurants as you would expect and of course that sea view! Broadway at the Beach This is a great location if you want to walk out in the evening and sample the nightlife and shops. You pay a premium for the location but you may consider this money well spent. However you need to appreciate that this is the busiest area if you are travelling in season. |
